Castelli’s Free Aero Race Bibshorts employ three different fabrics to keep you comfortable, and fast. Their Energia Micro side and back paneling allows full range of motion, their Breathe Micro fabric in the front maximizes airflow, and their Action Micro fabric in the saddle contact areas ensures durability. Plus, their comfy Progetto X2 Air chamois has just the right balance of long-lasting support and airflow, while their Free Bib straps are narrow, allowing for an open chest. These airy bibs also sport Castelli's GIRO3 leg grippers and seam-free inner legs for a comfy, secure fit.

These are the best bibs I have worn. They are all day comfortable and I have never felt any chafing or pressure points. The inner thight panels are made of a tougher material that is showing little wear after a year of hard use. I especially appreciate the low cut of the front of the bib as they do not cover up the abdomen on a hot ride.
They are a bad choice. Definitely. The pad is so poorly designed that it creates lots of trouble especially for the sensitive parts. The sit bones feel indeed good after long rides but who cares when you have other, more important problems?
