The new Power Arc Pro expands on the success of Specialized's original Power saddle. It features the same channel and length as the original and S-Works Arc, but where it differs is in its titanium rails versus the carbon fiber found on the S-Works. But this means that it still features a stiff, FACT carbon fiber shell and lightweight EVA padding. BSA is equivalent to English threading. English threading on road bikes mean a 68mm-wide, 34mm inside diameter shell with reverse threading on the drive side. It's the most common threaded standard employed today. This kit works with 24mm diameter cranks, such as Shimano, FSA, Rotor, and others. Choose between two bearings for the cups. Standard Bearings have low drag thanks to hardened-steel races and our Ceramic balls. Coated Bearings have those same balls installed on coated, hardened-steel races for longer life and less bearing drag. English threading is easy to work with, and 24mm spindles easily fit through the shell, allowing for large bearings to be employed in the outside cups. Put more of your energy into forward motion by reducing frictional drag wherever you can. CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings typically have frictional drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set. That's in the range of a 75% drag reduction compared to standard bottom brackets. CeramicSpeed balls are 100% smoother and 15% harder than ceramic competition. The bearings last at least 3x longer than other bearings. Its traditional long shape is designed to relieve pressure in aggressive, race-inspired positions while allowing the rider to slide backward and forward on the saddle to provide the ideal position for tempo climbing or maximum wattage efforts. Now with Mirror technology, the saddle reduces pressure by up to 26% compared to traditional foam saddles, validated with extensive high-resolution pressure mapping studies. It uses a 3D printed matrix with 22,200 struts and 10,700 nodes and features a unique concave shell to deliver our thickest Mirror pad yet.
